Additionally, 57% of realtors recommend that a client upgrade their kitchen before even attempting to sell their home. Buyers want renovated kitchens, and they’re willing to pay more for them. If you’re planning on moving soon or in the future, upgrading your kitchen can be a good choice to increase your home’s value and sell it more quickly. If you’re not planning on moving right away, you can enjoy the benefits of a new kitchen before reaping the selling benefits. It’s a win-win.
Speaking of the benefits of a living with a newly remodeled kitchen, there are plenty. For starters, 82% of people said that they have a greater desire to be at home since completing their kitchen renovation project. Let’s think about this for a minute. If you have a new kitchen, you’re going to want to spend time in it. And if you’re spending time in a kitchen, you’re probably cooking. In most cases, cooking meals at home is much cheaper than going out to eat. In this way, remodeling your kitchen can actually help you save money!
In addition, 75% of people have an increased sense of enjoyment while they are at home because of a remodeled kitchen. Nothing feels better than having accomplished a hard project. Taking on a big project is a great way to increase your confidence and help you find a sense of purpose and accomplishment. Plus, you get bragging rights whenever someone compliments your gorgeous new kitchen (which they’re sure to do).
